View of the Central Post Office - Interior and Exterior

For the first time, open screenings of Ferdinand Bobergs Centralposthuset are organized on Vasagatan, in cooperation between Art Tours Sthlm and 7A.

Centralposthuset is a monumental Art Nouveau building in central Stockholm, and during the tour we show both the exterior and especially the interior where you get a unique chance to enter the more closed parts of the house and get a guided tour.

The Central Post Office was built between 1898-1903, designed by the architect Ferdinand Boberg and is deeply decorated in a distinctive way for the style of architecture known as Jugend. Until 2003, for a hundred years, it was the central office of Svenska Posten and since then has also served as an office for the Government Offices but is today an office hotel and conference facility.

The show is held outdoors and indoors with a maximum of 30 participants per occasion. The viewing takes about an hour.
